Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will make a big difference in my students' daily classroom experience. The Acer Chromebook will provide an essential tool for students to complete research, digital assignments, and educational games that support their learning across subjects. With the wired computer mice, students will be able to navigate digital tools more easily—especially those who find touchpads frustrating or hard to use. The extra-large seat cushion is for me—as a shorter teacher, it helps me sit comfortably while still being able to see and engage with all of my students during instruction and activities.

These materials will help create a more comfortable, focused, and accessible learning environment for all of my students.

The tennis balls and replacement chair casters will help reduce noise and protect the classroom floor, creating a quieter, calmer environment that improves focus for all students, especially those with sensory sensitivities. The manual pencil sharpeners allow students to quietly sharpen their pencils without causing disruption during lessons. Lastly, the mechanical pencils will provide durable, high-quality writing tools that students can depend on daily, reducing the need to borrow or frequently replace supplies.

Every item in this project supports a smoother, more focused classroom experience. Thank you for helping create a supportive, student-centered learning environment!
