My Students

First grade is a pivotal grade for FOSTERING A LOVE OF LEARNING. Children learn in many different ways - through hands on learning, play and exploration, and the use of technology. This past year has proven to be a time that students must learn through technology. I believe a mix of all kinds of learning modes is beneficial.

My Project

Chromebook license - We will use the chromebook licenses to get our new chromebooks up and running in our classroom. We cannot use the chromebooks without a proper license.

Books on CD - The audio books will be a great addition to our listening station.

The kids love listening to books on CD while they follow along with the book. This is a great way for them to enjoy a story while also helping to secure those necessary phonics skills that they need. It's one of their favorite stations in the classroom!
