My Students

My students are an amazing and creative group of kids. They are expressive, funny, and forever keep me on my toes.

Some of my students have difficulty learning in the traditional way, and they need to get creative in how they navigate school.

All of my students are awesome and deserve the very best we, as a community, can provide for them.

It takes a great deal to complete classwork and maintain their attention, but they work hard to do it. These kids deserve the best tools to work with, books to read, and resources to work with.

My Project

Since Micanopy Academy has added a high school building AND high school students, we have found ourselves in a really wonderful predicament.

We need a laptop/chrome book to use in our building to help our kids fill out and apply for scholarships, grants, job applications, research projects, FAFSA's, and so much more.

Having a new laptop, in the high school building, will allow the high school kids the opportunity to keep working without having to go across to the big building to type or access the internet. It would be an amazing resource to have and a great addition, too.
