My Students

In our classroom, the children rise to the challenge of meeting and exceeding the rigorous demands of the curriculum. Each day the students strive to become fluent readers, capable writers, and develop a Math sense that provides understanding. Learning is fun, and smiles are abundant in our class!

Since our school is Title 1, our goal for each student is for them to become successful in school and life.

A strong foundation will provide the stepping stone they need to excel and have opportunities to succeed. Most of my students live in financially assisted housing and receive free lunch. Although they are poor financially, they are rich in heart! The entire school strives to nurture the students with love and knowledge. High expectations are producing results. Students in our school know that education is the key to becoming productive members of society.

My Project

A 2 - in - 1 Chromebook is a much needed technology component needed in our classroom! Many of the students in my classroom have not had access to educational technology. Taking Virtual field trips, Reading and Math support, Coding, and STEAM activities are just a few ways to enhance learning with the Chromebook. The Chromebook will provide enhanced student interest, cooperative learning, active engagement, and positive rewards for all learners.
