My 6th grade students are between the ages of 10-13 years old and are eager and excited to see and do new things. We are a Title I school and most of my students are on free lunch. They love to learn about new places and experiences. We have very old equipment and a tiny budget. We would love to play equipment with USF logo so my students can begin to think about their college choices. My students eagerly participated in First Tee Golf and Bay Care Bike Safety. They are always looking forward to have new experiences.
My Project
I really need 10 Chromebooks, but I am starting off with a small project in hopes of getting a Chromebook in my class room in the next month. This is a PE class in Florida. When it rains, we go into a classroom and play Kahoots. Kahoots is an online game based on questions that can be created by the teacher. This is an excellent way to check for student comprehension and increase student engagements. Students can use their phones, but not everyone one of my students has a phone, and I want a way for more students to be engaged in this online game. This Chromebook would be used every day as well for students to check their Edsby account which is their online grading system. Please support this project so I can increase student engagement. Hugs to you who support this project in a BIG way and in a small way. Every little bit helps.
