This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am excited to launch a DonorsChoose project that aims to bring the joy of the holiday season into our classroom. I envision transforming our space into a festive and inspiring place for my students to learn and grow. To achieve this, I am seeking donations for Christmas and winter decorations, as well as delightful surprises like sweets and bracelets that will be assembled into personalized goodie bags for each student. I'm excited to announce a reading competition in our classroom leading up to the holiday season, culminating just before Christmas. To incentivize and reward our students for their active participation, we plan to present personalized goodie bags as gifts. These bags, filled with delightful surprises like sweets and bracelets, will serve as tangible acknowledgments of their reading achievements.

These small gestures of holiday cheer will not only create lasting memories for the children but also contribute to a sense of warmth and community within our classroom.

In the spirit of enhancing our educational experience, I excited about acquiring essential office materials to optimize our learning environment. Donations for laptop covers, Spanish silicone keyboards, and mice will greatly benefit our students as we strive to integrate technology into our curriculum.

Together, we can create a festive and technologically-equipped classroom that fosters a love for learning and celebrates the joy of the holiday season. Thank you for considering and supporting our educational endeavors.
