This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you suffer from allergies or Asthma. The majority of my students suffer from both which makes it difficult for them to breath. By using a dry erase board it helps the children breath better and also helps with academics.

I teach a diverse 2nd grade class.

It is an inclusion class in a high needs community public school. The students range from intervention to enrichment. Many of the children suffer from asthma and allergies. One way for them to breathe easier is if we had a dry erase board.

My Project

A dry erase board is essential to any elementary school classroom. Its uses are endless. We would use the board as a place to gather and brainstorm ideas. It will be used for whole group activity but also for small group instruction. It is where children can do calculations without worrying about the dust giving them an asthma attack. Many may not think of a dry erase board as an important part of the classroom but it is essential part of learning.

A dry erase board can help my students breathe better and come to school more often.

It will allow children to do better in school and have an environment which is healthier for them.
