My Students

I have a very special group of students from 14-18. They are rambunctious and eager to learn about all types of music. They have faced so many challenges in the past few years but continue to overcome. My students are incredibly creative and continue to surprise me in the ways they come up with things to improve our program.

My Project

I am a first year teacher and trying to revive my program in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year we have been focused on raising funds to make our program bigger and better.

In order to hold successful fundraisers, we have to have supplies that often off-set the money we raise. These supplies would let us lower the costs of our supplies drastically.

In addition to the choir program fundraising, my students are also involved in the school musical which I also run. We need supplies to create costumes and sets. This will allow for my students to learn life skills such as using power tools and using a sewing machine.
