My Project

Every year the students will practice months for the Chinese New Year performance. They love the feeling of showing what they've been learning to the whole school and to their parents. Due to the limitation of drums, lions, and dragons, I would love to include everyone and let them have the opportunity to show something. Hence I added the small lion puppet for students to play with.

By helping out with this project, the students will have the opportunity to expose to authentic Chinese props and be more excited to participate in the New Year performance.

The students will use the fans to perform a fan dance and the puppet to go along with the lion/dragon dance. They will use the other materials for crafts in class and be immersed in the Chinese New Year celebration.

Ms. Kuo will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by Thursday, June 5.
