My Students

Today we live in a High Tech world. My 6 year old students are taking on the challenge of learning Chinese. Having a learning tool such as Samsung Galaxy Tablet at the touch of their finger tips will be both exciting and rewarding!

My students are a group of smart and enthusiastic 6 years old kids.

Many of their parents do not have the financial ability to provide technology tools such as computer, iPad, or educational games for them. They attend a Title One school but every single one of them works hard in learning Chinese and keeping up with their English. They deserve something extraordinary to enrich their learning experience.

My Project

I plan on using this Samsung Galaxy Tablet as a learning tool to further encourage them to learn their Chinese. I want to get applications that will allow the students to write Chinese on the Tablet; listen to Mandarin stories, songs and chants; play interactive games and record their own voices as they read in Mandarin.

Your support will be a dream come true for me and for these children.

The Tablet will act as an exciting learning media tool for the students to deepen their understanding of Chinese and the cultural background. Thank you!
