My Project

My students are from Camden, NJ, an inner city environment. Most students are entitled to free lunch every day. As I am the only Chinese language teacher in the district, my students are the very few select students that are able to take Chinese in Camden. I would like to get this project going to be able to provide the necessary class supplies.

Students will be able to use the items as follows:

paper- various assignments

earphones - Chinese listening exercises and practice

whiteboards and markers- active class participation

Potato chips -a positive reward for participation

Laminating sheets - signs and word wall
