This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Welcome to our counseling center, where learning and growth are nurtured every day! I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to help establish a Calm Corner—a serene oasis within our bustling school environment.
In our diverse and vibrant classroom, each student brings their unique set of emotions, challenges, and needs.
Sometimes, these can become overwhelming, making it difficult for them to focus or engage fully. A Calm Corner provides a dedicated space where students can regain their composure, recharge their energy, and find the inner peace needed to thrive academically and socially.
Imagine a corner adorned with soft cushions, cozy rugs, and shelves filled with books that inspire mindfulness and emotional well-being. Picture soothing colors and gentle lighting that create a tranquil atmosphere, encouraging students to reflect, relax, and rejuvenate.
