This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am Mental Health Professional. I have a lot of students with mental health concerns that use a corner near my office. I'd like to make the area more welcoming and stock it with tools that rebalance their mind so they're able to return to class.
This project focuses on the ambiance of the space and the requested items will be used for students to have a safe, quiet area away from the noise and the crowds, with tools that support mental wellness.
The goal is to minimize the impact of mental health barriers on student's academics.
