Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hard-working, creative, highly motivated, and diverse groups of learners. They come to school ready to learn, and I want to give them a safe, happy, and productive classroom.

I am requesting items to celebrate Children's Mental Health Day,

I will teach a lesson that help children develop empathy, and cultivates compassion toward animals, people, and the natural world. Students will express what they learned about empathy by completed one of the following activities: drawing something to make someone joyful, sending kind thoughts to someone who needs help, describe ways to help someone who is feeling hurt, angry, sad, scared, sick, and embarrassed, etc. After the lesson and activities the second grade classrooms will celebrate Children's Mental Health Day by providing them with books, stress balls, coloring books, etc. Thank you so much for considering giving the second graders an opportunity to celebrate children's mental health day.
