My Project

I work with students in kindergarten and teach them reading skills during large group instruction as well as guided reading groups. I have included some much-needed tools for small group interventions to help add interest and excitement to our reading lessons.

Touch Read Phonics will help students identify each sound in words.

This helps build fluency. As do the Snap Words Phonics Sets. The Alphabet Learning Locks can also help with these students and provide an engaging group rotation while I intervene with small groups.

What's the Rhyme Sorting House is another great rotation that can be used for rhyming work, for my more advanced kindergartens. These materials have so many possibilities and will enhance the effectiveness of our literacy stations!
