My Project

The materials in my bin are there to help me organize my classroom. As a high school teacher, I see multiple classes throughout the day. The bins will help me provide a space where students can place their assignments when they enter or leave my room based on their class.

I would also like to use the second bins for students to leave their composition books in my classroom.

This will ensure that unless I need them to carry the book home, it is always in my room and not lost or in their locker--it takes time for them to return to their locker to get the book and then return to class.

By reorganizing my space this year, I hope that it will cut down on transition time from one space to the next.

Finally, I have a set of crayons in my cart. Although I teach English, I still incorporate arts and crafts into my instructions through assignments such as a character head or a one pager. This will provide scholars will enough materials to do a deep dive on any text we're reading.
