This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This will help give students a place of their own that may not be included in other school activities. Teaching and learning the game of chess can get a great hobby for our students.
A wireless speaker will help with delivery of instruction for our outdoor labs and assignments and give out students an opportunity to listen to music during individual assignments.
Students deserve a place where they feel welcomed and valued and by creating a social chess club this could benefit students with a sense of belonging. Thank you.
