This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My wonderful students are missing some things in their classroom! They have sensory needs that need to be met. We have a "calm corner" in our classroom that needs some sensory tools. These tools will help my students regulate their emotions when taking breaks in our calm corner. My students are also leaders, which means they have jobs around the classroom that are typical "teacher jobs." Some of these tools will help my students lead in our classroom and feel excited to do their daily jobs. Other materials are basic classroom materials that will help us stay safe, clean, and efficient in our day-to-day!
