This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are kind, helpful, and eager to be the best student and humans they can. I teach Chemistry and Environmental Science- I love seeing my students truly dive into a topic in chemistry or environmental science that they love, I want to keep providing that!

My Project

The materials in my Donors Choose project are chosen to help support learning in my Chemistry classroom. In my room, we use individual dry erase boards several times per week, so one of the most important items I have listed is a new set of boards, more markers, and erasers to support learning. Next, I would love to offer my students more hands on learning when we are exploring topics around subatomic particles and structure, so I am very excited to have both atom and molecular structure kits in my Donors Choose project as well. Lastly, I have added two other items to my project to support alternative activities to get students out of their seats- a few easel boards to use around the classroom and window markers to add some art to chemistry!
