My Project

With the COVID-19 pandemic, students have lost lots of opportunities to practice their lab skills in person. We have had to focus on taking more measurements based on pictures than on real-life measurement activities. As we move back into the classroom, I want to spend time allowing students to practice actual measurements with actual lab equipment. Balances are usually the most expensive pieces of lab equipment that we use, so it will be helpful to get a nice, new set of balances for students to use. We also always need high quality calculators for students to borrow so they get away from their phones (as they did so much when they were learning at home during the pandemic) to practice using real calculators.
