it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Elementary School is needing more enrichment activities before school. Kids arrive early for a soft start to begin their day. I will be offering an enrichment where kids learn how to play chess. I'm requesting chess games, chess sets and organizers.
Chess is a game that involves critical thinking and strategy.
It is a game that will help them think critically about situations in the future. Chess also teaches problem solving and memory. Our gifted and talented program would benefit greatly from this club. I would like to give students a chance to learn this very fun game.
