This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of my item request is simply because an impactful way to share community and space is through food. Providing my students with certain snack items I know they will enjoy helps to not only build rapport but it also is a small way of opening up so many other needs that can be addressed. My goal is to create a space that I know my students will enjoy, appreciate, and always know they can come back to. Every student I reach is special because they all teach me in many ways. I am grateful for them!
