My Project

The students will have different materials to choose from to keep them excited and engaged in learning, such as small notepads, colored pens, and highlighters. With the materials provided, the students will write stories, analyze and explain math problems, respond to literature in reading, post wonderings in science and social studies, and much more. They will learn to work in pairs and groups and develop social skills through interacting and problem solving together.

With the Teachers Pay Teachers resources, I will give students access to more decodable books and engaging language arts and math activities to deepen their understanding.

The bins will be used to organize reading and spelling group work. Chart paper and bulletin board decorations will provide a welcoming learning environment. Additionally, we will have some fun supplies to use for physical education, such as skip-its and toss and throw sets.

By implementing an engaging inquiry approach, my students will see themselves as authors, readers, mathematicians, scientists, social scientists, and athletes.
