My Students

My classes consists of 42 resilient students of varying abilities and socioeconomic levels who are survivors of Hurricane Michael. We strive to build a classroom community of learners equipped with grade level standards and social awareness. The students work together to contribute to an active learning environment.

My students are resilient, energetic, social, and smart, and they are survivors of Hurricane Michael.

They love science and technology. While they are at different levels academically, they have a strong curiosity about the world around them. They are at their best when they are in charge of their learning.

My Project

The Charging Cart for storing laptops will be used to contribute to an aesthetically pleasing, efficient learning environment. Classroom laptops will be stored daily for charging overnight. The cart provides organized storage for the laptops in one convenient location. The mobility of the cart allows it to be moved out of the way of learning.

Being able to efficiently store and charge multiple devices in one place is a game changer for saving time during transitions in the classroom.

Students will be able to quickly transition from learning activities because there is one place where they can quickly store materials.
