This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 at a Title I high school in Los Angeles county. All students are required to carry and use their school-assigned chromebooks on a daily basis. I am asking for charging stations so I can set them throughout the classroom. I have full classes and when more than one student needs to charge their Chromebook it is problematic because I do not have a power outlet for everyone. Additionally, I am asking for charging stations for students to charge their cell phones. I require my students to lock their cellphones in a cell phone locker and a way to help motivate them to put them away is if their phones are charging. Additionally, I am asking for staplers because I need them for my students to staple the work they turn in to me. I only have one functioning staple and it is used every day.
