Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting are to help my Character Counts Club at HGMS have impactful activities to promote and encourage positive Values at our school.

Our activities are conducted during lunch time and the members of my club volunteer their time to help lead the activities.

We create a poster with the Value of the month and discuss the value during our monthly meetings. We also create a quick activity that students can participate in that encourages that the student think about the Value.

The Miami Dade County Public School values are kindness, respect, responsibility, integrity, pursuit of excellence, honesty, citizenship, fairness, and cooperation. My club has a monthly meeting and activity to promote the values.
