My Students

I love all the students that I encounter at my school. The students that are personally in my classroom are so creative, bright, intelligent, bold, and loving. Despite a mistake a student may have made, he or she always knew Ms. Hayes’s classroom was an environment where there was overflowing love. Making mistakes is normal but how we handle what to do further is the key. They strive to always do better in everything they do because making mistakes is okay as long as they decide to create change for the results they want. They also love cheering for their classmates to believe in themselves when they are down. They are filled with love, an eagerness to learn and do their best without feeling like they are pressured to create no error.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students learning because it will create an inviting atmosphere as well as vibrant colors to produce creativity. If the students are captured by visuals and the energy of the teacher, they are going to be eager to learn and be in attendance. As I teach different lesson plans based on the specific standards and curriculum I always integrate art and expression of self. It makes learning more comfortable and gives the students an environment to assist with finding yourself while gaining knowledge and being educated. I’ve seen the outcome and growth. I also have students that have never been able to express themselves and academically they lack because they are afraid to fail or be wrong. Sometimes you have to be taken out of a certain environment and placed in a new one in order for your authenticity to be discovered. Unfortunately, for a lot of the students it is shocking to find teachers and peers that encourage them and push them to rely on themselves to determine what you can do. It sparks something
