Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At this school, we consider each other a family. We see many of the family members of the students early in the morning during the car-loop drop off and during parent pick-up. Many of the students play in after-curricular activities together for years so they develop a friendship that almost seems like a family. They care, support, and encourage each other every day to try their best and celebrate their accomplishments.

Determined, energetic, and fearless; my students are ready for whatever curveball is thrown their way even through a pandemic like this one.

Even though they are young they are devoted to learning the ins and outs of everything around them, as the generation of tomorrow, they need to be prepared to be exposed to a world of technological tools and learn an educational skill that they will use to contribute to the world.

My Project

This Cricut maker will help my students create STEM activities and ideas come to life. With this tool my students will be able to create projects such as creating a solar oven to cook meals such as S'mores. The creative possibilities are endless! You can make just about anything with a Cricut machine,such as decals, wooden creations, presentation, models, and so much more. The creativity is endless.

With this tool the sky will be the limit and the knowledge and experience they gain will be timeless and remembered forever.

The Cricut Maker is a cutting machine that can cut several different materials like paper, vinyl, cardstock, and even wood! Students will use Math skills and strategies to cut projects. They will also learn how to use vinyl, create and transfer their creation on to different items for each other in the classroom.
