Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with a very diverse group of students. As an interventionist in a low income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with new challenges on a daily basis especially in Reading. Despite these challenges, they come to school every day. They struggle to read daily and incorporating technology during small group would just bring them one step closer to success. I am looking to make this the best place for them to become global learners in a world of technology.

My Project

The use of chromebooks for a group of students can create one-to-one computing environments, and this will allow my students and I to take full advantage of the benefits of the Internet and technology.

Some of the benefits my students would have while using the chromebooks would include:

1. Providing curriculum support and additional information to enhance their reading skills.

2. Becoming confident in reading on their level and making learning more interesting for technology-savvy students.

3. Integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles.

4. Transforming their learning experience so that they can have access to an incredible amount of new opportunities.
