My Students

Ours is a public Montessori school serving children in K3 through eighth grade. In our first through third grade classrooms, we focus on academic and practical life skills that children need to be successful. The children in our classes are creative, thoughtful, and curious, always interested in learning something new!

Our students are creative, caring, enthusiastic learners who are beginning to understand their special place in our world.

We want them to develop a curiosity that allows them to appreciate all that Montessori education has to offer!

My Project

We are requesting a variety of digital and handheld microscopes to complement our lower elementary Montessori curriculum. These resources will be shared across all the lower elementary classrooms in our school so many students will benefit from their use.

Montessori students are naturally curious about the world around them and they are fascinated with science!

These microscopes and slides will help them explore nature in a new way and give them the ability to add new information to their research projects. Digital microscopes will allow the teachers to share images with large groups while the handheld version will be useful for field trips and nature exploration. We will examine everything from parts of plants and animals to larger specimens. The utility cart will allow us to safely transport the microscopes.
