My Students

I teach a fourth and fifth-grade multi-age classroom, in an urban school district, in Washington. Many students at our school, come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and need all of the resources they can get at school!

I am a sixth-year teacher, needing some help to get classroom chairs for my students to have a successful time in the classroom!

We currently have very old chairs that make marks on the floors. The floors are originally a creamish white, but they are now gray with marks all over the place. My students spend each week cleaning up and these marks don't come off!

My Project

I am asking for 20 new chairs that have caps on the legs so that they aren't loud and keep the classroom floors clean. We have started to put felt over the bottom of the legs, but they come off after several months. We have tried for years to come up with a way that we can keep the chairs quiet and clean, but it has been very difficult.

Please help to donate to this project so that we can get new chairs in our classroom!
