My Students

My students come from all walks of life: various races, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds. It's truly a melting pot here, and we nurture a culture of respect, equality, and kindness for our school family. Every morning, we start our day with the mantra: "I am Kind, I am Smart, I am Important."

My Project

My school is a Title I targeted assistance school where some of my students do not have the necessary supplies to cultivate their learning. My job is to meet the needs of all my students and with your help my diverse group of third graders can achieve to their fullest potential. My goal as their teacher is to create lifelong learners and strong members of their community.

Kids also need to move in order to pay attention. Giving kids a chance to move while they are learning is essential in a third grade classroom. These Cantilever Chairs will give everyone a comfortable seat while providing them the opportunity to move while sitting. These specially designed ergonomic chairs give kids the comfort they need as they sit the way that suits them! With a flexible seat back and a unique steel frame that provides both spring and stability, each molded chair allows children to sit forward and sideways…and even bounce.

Supplying our classroom with these resources will allow students the opportunity to move substantially more throughout the day which will help them focus on their learning. While gaining a foundational understanding of the importance of their health, students will also experience the connection between the mind and the body!
