My Project

We are a small rural school that emphasizes computer literacy and 21st century skills. Because of this, we are one of the first schools around here to start an esports team and we need seating, consoles and TVs that make us comfortable and healthy.

We have all sorts of students from the entire district come in to play here.

We also allow the community students to gather during the summer to play instead of being out on the streets. The Internet at home is very bad so we allow the students to gather for games. This has brought up their overall wellbeing for the students since the pandemic started because they feel a sense of belonging when they usually feel like outcasts. We have grown from a group of nine to double that in one year, but our furniture is all begged and borrowed. We do not have good chairs for the students to sit in during games and practice. We also don’t have Nintendo Switches and TVs for our kids to use in the lab. Our lab also serves as the yearbook and advanced computer classes lab, so not only would the chairs service our esports team but also our other classes. We need consoles and tvs to support our growing classes.
