Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are preschool age children, ages 3-5. We are a Preschool for All Learners, consisting of students with a wide range of disabilities but not to diminish their many abilities! Each day they remind me what life is all about. Most importantly, they teach me that we are all different and that is beautiful! I love each and every student as if they are my own, and for that I am thankful for all my kiddos!

My Project

In my class, not all of my students have the privilege of having a cube chair to use. Cube chairs provide appropriate support and stability for each student. In order to provided structure and appropriate routine for my students their chairs are labeled with their name and picture. With that being said, only 4 of my students are provided a cube chair. Where are my other students don’t have a cube chair to support their individual needs. It is important as an educator to provide equal opportunities for each one of my students. I hope that with these next set of cube chairs I can meet more needs of my students!
