This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Tables in the early childhood classroom are a great way to encourage collaborative learning and build imperative social skills. With that though comes the struggle of figuring out a storage solution for workbooks, library books, and whiteboards. Usually, I have cubbies on a shelf near the carpet. This takes valuable class time to excuse groups to find their materials and sit down.

Chair pockets provide a solution to this time and space problem.

By having chair pockets, students can have their learning materials at their fingertips allowing us to transition as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
