My Project

This project will provide kick bands for each student chair in my classroom. I have provided these for students throughout my 7 years of teaching and after years of use, they are starting wear out. This project will continue to provide these kick bands for all students in my classes.

Kick bands are incredibly helpful for the middle schoolers I teach because movement is proven to help students learn.

Many students like to have a way to fidget while they are doing seated work. Kick bands give students a way to fidget and get out their "wiggles" while not being a distraction to others. Kick bands are also incredibly helpful for students who have ADHD and other learning disabilities. Years and years worth of students have told me that kick bands have made a huge difference in their learning and focus.
