My Students

My students love a challenge! Over the last few years our school has been dipping our toes into the world of STEAM through family night events and a few lessons within the classrooms.

As the newly assigned STEAM teacher in my school, I am looking forward to bringing these real-world based challenges to all second, third, and fourth grade students.

In order to do this, my students need the right materials to support their learning. They come from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities and my goal is to make them all feel successful!

My Project

During the school year my students will be learning about chain reactions and cause and effect. This concept is usually difficult to understand, especially for younger students, so the opportunity to create their own "cause and effect" scenario should leave a lasting impression.

These LEGO STEM kits will not only grab their attention but they will also give them the hands on experience of learning!

Additionally, the color ink will provide an opportunity for their hard work and creativity to be captured. Every student looks forward to seeing their work presented on the bulletin board and now it will be possible.
