Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students population is mainly in a low income area but they’re mostly working families. Most of our students come from immigrant parents trying to make the best for their children’s future. They’re lack of technology is a big problem with communicating to the students and their parents.

Students in our school have the potential to succeed.

They're need of belonging in team or clubs will boost their self confidence.

They want to participate in our school activities, with the information provided our students will be more engaged throughout the school year.

My Project

The materials needed will help our students be informed throughout the school year with all activities, programs, assessments and important papers that need to go home and have their parents complete and return to school.

Cafeteria has 3- 55" flat screen TVs donated from another organization and all 3 tv's will be looped together with HDMI cables and a converter box to one source with the splitter to distribute the same information to all 3 tv's for students to read and see throughout the cafeteria.

Source (laptop) will be able to play either a video or power point presentations with different educational information.
