My Students

Day in and day out, my lively group of fourth graders show big smiles and a can-do attitude to take on any project I send their way. They are a big-hearted bunch that glad to be back in school learning and with friends. They care about each other and the world. It is really a special group.

My Project

After being at home for so long, my students missed art. The connections they make through art can be significant and long-lasting. This project will provide beautiful glazes to use in our newly-refurbished kiln to create ceramics that will be things of beauty.

Art helps students focus, analyze, and understand.

All of these skills are important in the social and emotional lives of my students. I believe this project will help contribute to these areas.

Your contribution will go towards purchasing beautiful glazes to cover our ceramic pieces and turn them into small treasures.
