Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our ceramics class is a bit bigger this year as more and more students are beginning to show interest in the art form. Students are walking by expressing their interest in taking the class, which makes me very proud of the work that I am doing at the school. This is exciting to see, however, acquiring glazes has been a bit of a struggle for us. Our students need a variety of glazes to explore so they can continue to create works of art that they are proud of.

Students are always looking for specific colors when finishing their projects, so it would be greatly appreciated if we could provide them with those options!

My goal is to continue to grow our library of glazes so students can fulfill their visions of their work!
