My Students

My students live in a rural Texas town. We are a low socio-economic school. English is a second language for many of the students in my class. Many of these students have limited resources at home and very few life experiences. Many have not traveled outside of our little town.

These 22 energetic second graders come to school everyday so eager to learn!

They love to read, use technology, problem solve and make friends. And I love giving them the best educational experiences, materials and resources that I possibly can.

My Project

What do the students do while the teacher is in small groups? They extend their learning and practice skills while in centers. These supplies will give my second graders so many opportunities to practice math and reading skills in a fun and exciting way.

These supplies will help me to make learning fun for all students in 2E!

I cannot wait to see my student's faces when they see all of the fun ways we can explore math and reading during station time.

Differentiating for my second graders is my ultimate goal. These supplies will help me to reinforce skills while helping struggling learners in a small group setting. We cannot wait to put these supplies to good use.
