My Project

The items listed here will help me to create centers for use during small group instruction. Small group instruction is crucial to learning in an elementary school. In my classroom, the diverse levels of my students, includes special education, English Language Learners, and general education students at different levels. The poster will be used to decorate my classroom and help to improve the warm and nurturing environment in my classroom.

I love that my students are from a title I neighborhood, yet they have not allowed that to dampen their joy for learning.

Each child enters my classroom each day excited and ready to explore using the resources we have. Getting these additional resources will help them to be even more involved. The additional resources will also help to support students at home since I will be sending home some of the phonics manipulative to be used as homework.

During Math class, students will be able to work in centers in smaller groups which will increase their ability to apply the skills and content they are learning.

These materials will help to improve my center activities and therefore increase engagement and learning in my classroom.
