Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The end of the year is upon us. Each child deserves to be recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments! Lets work together and shower them with tools that will increase their creativity through the summer months. Every student will receive an academic prize of their choosing for completing Kindergarten!

As I finish out my first year of kindergarten, I look ahead to next year for ideas and tools that will help centers run more smoothly.

Organization is key, having a plastic tray to put each center will lessen time setting up centers and give more time to learning in centers. As the year progressed a saw each student started to grow and I thought, wouldn't it be great to give each student the ability to have differentiation each center to meet their learning needs. Keeping a small pencil box of supplies and tools that fit their individual learning needs.

Dot markers are used in literacy with dotting letters and also in math with showing quantities of numbers.

Magnets are utilized in centers for creating hands on activities to adhere to metal walls and door frames so they can always be learning in every aspect of the room.

Each child that enters this classroom has the ability to achieve great things when given the love and care they need. We would love for you to be apart of their love and care.
