My Project

Most of my special education students are diagnosed with autism. These students are caring, hard working, and enthusiastic learners. Many of these students learn at their own pace. We work together in small groups and they work on centers to strengthen their learning.

These hands on materials make center time fun and engaging for these learners!

These material will give me the ability to differentiate learning in the centers for the wide range of learning abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. These materials will help with the students instruction, independent functioning, and fine motor skills.

My students have thrived on this center system but as a first year teacher, I do not have enough materials to keep up with their various levels and differentiate the activities to make the centers engaging and at the appropriate levels.

My goal is to provide differentiated, individualized, and fun task centers to make the most of center time!
