My Project

Because my students work best when moving around the classroom, they gain tremendously from center rotations. With center rotations, the students move from one center to another, engaging in assigned activities at each center. During “center time,” the students practice skills, request desired items and engage in play activities. Some of the focus areas of the centers are literacy, math and social emotional learning. My classroom needs storage bins to place the materials in and a cube organizer where the bins will be stored and easily accessible.

As an added benefit, the storage bins can easily be cleaned and disinfected.

This donation would do amazing things for the students and me. There would be writing charts to help teach them the importance of organization in writing. To have reading and writing organized in a classroom will help aid students gain lifelong skills. This donation would aid in making sure everything in my classroom has a place where it belongs. In my classroom organization is something I try to expose my students to. This allows them to feel calm and organized in their environment.
