Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The tools like the magnetic folder bins and snap cubes will help build our center area and allow students to explore math concepts in different ways. Students can learn and engage in activities that are designed for them with hands on materials. These differentiated activities best meet their needs and give students the chance to make academic gains. Our students are very visual learners so then snap cubes will allow them to build different math models to better understand.

In our small groups, we are seeing incredible growth from our students because they are willing to take chances and work together.

When our center area is organized and well stocked with materials students are able to work with each other in small groups. We want to continue to foster the importance of group work and to push students to continue to take chances during these learning opportunities
