Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach third grade in a high needs community with a high ELL population. My students love to learn and they love learning with centers. I want all my children to become fluent readers.

I work with leveled reading groups every day. While I work with my groups of 4-6 students, the rest of the class needs to be working quietly with one another on a variety of literacy centers. My goal is to have my centers organized and easy to understand by the rest of the class. I want the rest of the class to run itself while I give each group the attention they deserve.

In order for this to become a reality I am requesting a Literacy Centers Pocket Chart. This will allow my students clearly see and follow the center rotations. My students also need a file folder pocket chart where I can organize any handouts, activities, or instructions for each center. I am also in need of a writing center pocket chart which will be awesome to have as one of the centers. It is ready to use and I can reuse the questions for all of our Trophies Stories.

Your help with this project will greatly impact my students reading and comprehension levels. I will be able to work with my leveled groups and give them the individualized support they need. This project will also allow me to organize all the other wonderful centers I have and have my class running smoothly!
