Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are predominantly low socioeconomically but thrive on engaging themselves in learning. Every morning when they come in, they are eager to see the objectives and what we will be covering in each subject for the day. Even though most, if not all of them, qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, they are very friendly and welcoming with great social skills among their peers. My school is full of passionate teachers, teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to our students to help them become leaders every day. Through their leadership, we can have a better tomorrow!

My Project

When purchasing resources for our classrooms, teachers often take into account the specific needs of our individual classrooms. A lot of the resources available are a "one-size-fits-all" and only scratch the surface of learning. That's when our teacher brains come into play! There are TONS of amazing resources that fit my students levels that can easily be constructed for them on Teachers Pay Teachers.

For example, a raved about resource from other teachers I have networked with for learning ABC's where students will learn socially and academically!

Just a little extra of my time, some printer ink, my passion for teaching and Voila! I will be able to provide my kiddos with everything from dramatic play stations to science experiments to research projects! With your donation, I will be able to get my students the work they need and work they enjoy completing!
