Help me give my students these centers so that we can use student choice to build student agency.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am teaching 4th & 5th grade.
I am so excited to sow into these eager growing minds.
English is a second language for many of these students. They work hard and want to be successful in and out of the classroom. They will benefit from any support a donation could offer.
My students live in a low-income area with 98% qualifying for free lunch.
Most of my students live well below poverty so their parents do not have the means to support a Parent-Teacher Association. Many activities and resources are funded directly by the teachers.
These exceptional students may learn differently; however, they are high achievers that never give up. The fight in them makes it easy to advocate for them to have the best.
Even though how we educate and how they learn has changed, we still are eager to teach and learn. Half my students are face to face and the other half are learning at home.
My Project
We all learn better when our activities are tailored at our level and with our growth in mind. It is my goal to use the vocabulary, reading and writing centers to personalize learning.
Students need time to create and learn their way.
As teachers, once we see their areas of growth, we can then directly teach and use centers and other activities to close the gaps. Each of the reading and writing centers will be able to choose how to show their demonstration of learning.
Being able to close gaps during these times is even more important than ever before. Mitigating loss means that sometimes we will have to reinvent the wheel, which means teaching outside of the box.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
