Lunar New Year is around the corner. What a great way for students to learn about Chinese culture through arts and calligraphy during the Lunar New Year.
Students will be practicing writing 8 basic strokes and Chinese characters with calligraphy brushes, ink, and rice paper.
Then, students will draw a rabbit , which is the Chinese Zodiac animal of 2023.
Students will learn patience and perseverance through Chinese calligraphy, which also help us to develop a broader vocabulary.
Students will also be using chopsticks to enjoy some delicious Chinese food and snacks. Students can keep the chopsticks to use it at home.
Students will be so exciting to participate in Chinese calligraphy and chopsticks activities to learn about Chinese culture during Lunar New Year!
